Other than Bandai using the Japanese TV version of Escaflowne for the North American release, no other edits or changes have been reported for Bandai's uncut home video release (VHS and DVD).
NOTE: The Fox Kids edited version will reportedly be released on home video in addition to the uncut version, so please be careful when you are purchasing Escaflowne since the Fox Kids version is heavilly edited.

One difference was the addition of a little fanservice when Mill-chan merged into their demi armor. In the LD version, her breasts are briefly exposed when her clothes are removed by the worms/tentacles during the 'absorbsion' process.
